The Jamieson Family
On visiting the yard you immediately feel a sense of calm, all the
horses are relaxed munching on their hay without a care in the world.
Sam insists that the horses are happy, stress free and enjoying life
and thinks of each one as part of the family.
Ash, Sam’s Husband has embraced life with all the animals, enjoys
working around the yard especially with his noble steed ‘Dig Dig’ as
pictured on the right when hes not in the office.
Their daughter Emily 5 going on 35 has her feet firmly on the ground
and adores all the animals around her especially her dobermann,
Molly and pony, Bertie.
Sam has been with horses since she was 4 years old gaining
experience working with all types of equines from foals to competition
stallions, switched off so called lazy horses to sensitive hot blood
iberians.
Sam gained her BHS AI when she was 18 then became a BHS SM at
22. Working at Riding Schools, Competition yards, Holiday Centres,
a Stud, Hunt yard and Mounted Security yard gave her a real
foundation in the equine industry working with/for some lovely people,
horses and ponies both in the UK and USA.
Sam was lucky to have experienced a classical and competition
background with horses, has a real hunger for learning which she
loves passing on her knowledge to her clients and horses.
In the last 7 years Sam has ran her own Riding School and Livery
yard, Meadowbrook Stables which she closed in December 2010.
Which now allows her out Freelance teaching and Saddle Fitting
which she loves and running her online shop Neddy Shack
Over the years she has become Accredited by Heather Moffett as a
Level 3 Enlightened Equitation Teacher and Approved Agent of
Heather Moffett Saddles plus is Certified by The Saddle Company as
a Saddle Fitter and the UK Distributor of the Inky Dinky Childrens
Saddles.
Sam is also looking to become a Bitting Clinician in 2012 and further
studying equine behaviour. Sam finds it very rewarding in helping
horses and their owners plus trains and rides herself up to Advanced
Level.
